Nowhere/Now/Here (2008) was an exhibtion at LABoral Centro de Arte (Gijón, Spain) curated by Roberto Feo and Rosario Hurtado (El Último Grito) challenging perceptions of design through an examination of our everyday surroundings.
The seven protoype outcomes from My Life in a Sock Drawer were included in Nowhere/Now/Here, and an email 'essay' between myself and Lin Cheung was published as part of the accompanying catalogue (the entire catalogue can be downloaded from the website).
Taking the viewpoint that our environment has become part of us rather than us being part of it, as its point of departure, Nowhere/Now/Here encourages us to see design as an integral component of the world-shaping process.
